Tavake Afeaki
Tavake has over 25 years of experience advising private and public sector organisations in New Zealand and Tonga, as well as co-leading the New Zealand Maori Law Society for three terms.
He has advised many different groups of people, from individuals to whanau and iwi groups, companies, trusts, Commissions and Governments concerning matters from business to public and private sectors, e.g. tourism, import/export and many others. Driven by a passion for empowering people, addressing wider legal and human rights issues, he has developed a wide network of associates in the legal sector.
His peers have often praised his intelligent, critical thinking and he is known by colleagues and clients as being one of the most courteous, open-minded lawyers in the law.
